F.A.Q.
- The workpiece may not be evenly coated (see picture)
The working pressure may not be correct: the setting should be 0,6
mm lower than the actual workpiece thickness
- The workpiece have crosswise lines at a distance of approximately
750 mm from the other.
The application roller may be scratched or deformed crosswise and
should be replaced.
- The workpiece have crosswise lines at a variable distance
The speed of the application roller could be incorrect and adjusted or the application roller may be scratched or deformed crosswise and should be replaced
- The workpiece have wavy lengthwise lines
The scraper could be dirty and or scratched and should be cleaned or replaced. The application roller itself could be scratched by the scraper and should be replaced
- The workpiece have straight lengthwise lines.
The application roller could be scratched by the scraper and should be replaced. Make sure no parts come into contact with the roller thereby scratching it.
- Build-up of coating on the tailing edge of the workpiece
The speed of the application roller is too low and should be adjusted.
- Build-up of coating on the leading edge of the workpiece
The speed of the application roller is high low and should be adjusted.
- The stained workpiece have too much stain on the front and
too little
on the back
The scraper on the application roller is not in position and the scraper
pressure on the roller should be adjusted accordingly.
